I truly believe the impact we can make as an educators to children’s lives year after year is the biggest reward of all. Those years of college filled with essays, coffee, and all nighters are all worth it in the end when you sit back and see the impact you can and have made as an educator. Even if its just one child you feel you’ve made a difference to in their life that’s enough to make the job worth it. Its not about the materialistic things you can get with your salary as a teacher, it’s about all those not materialistic, values, beliefs, time and effort you gave to your students that helped them become a better and more successful person.

It’s all about loving who you are and what you do as an educator by doing this you can learn to love your students and their individuality, and what each one is capable of learning and doing. We think as a teacher we are here to teach and the students are there to learn, however some of us may not realize as we teach we learn from the students. They guide us as we give them direction in their journey of education. Its not about just what we can teach its what we can learn from these students as we teach and how they can make a positive change in our lives as well.
